"Everyone advised me not to buy
sight unseen over the internet. Everyone told me buying an
instrument online was a mistake. I was told the only way to
buy a violin was to hear two or three at one time before
making a decision.
I agreed with them, I was skeptical. Then I stumbled on the
StringWorks web site. The discussion board, and
customer comments interested me. Talking to Pat in
Appleton, Wisconsin and the email responses I received led
me to believe that this company understands their product,
customer support, and may have a quality product.
I was still skeptical though, but I figured the 14-day try
out period was my insurance policy.
This week I took delivery of a Virtuoso Violin, a Hoffman
bow and the deluxe oblong case. Visually I was
impressed. The Rosewood features are beautiful. I
played it and knew it was way ahead of the rental equipment
I had. My instructor played it and was impressed with
the fullness of tone.
- When I told her what I paid for it she
was very, very impressed." - B.P.

StringWorks
began with the goal of providing the highest quality
instruments for rental and purchase. When our founding officers
searched for the best available instruments for this purpose, we
found that no instrument lines currently available fulfilled all
our high criteria - exceptional sound, high quality workmanship,
uniqueness of appearance, specifications meeting or exceeding
those set by MENC, ease of playing, and lastly, affordability. We
decided that in order to assure that we could supply these
instruments to our customers, we had to design
them ourselves |
The
current StringWorks instrument lines, now expanded to cover all playing
levels from advanced student to consummate professional, are the result of over 5 years of
research and development, and we are so confident in their superior quality
that we offer a guarantee that you will not find a better instrument
at a better price anywhere. We also offer a guarantee for workmanship for
the useable life on all our instruments. See our Comments
page to hear what our customers have been saying about our instruments.
StringWorks
incorporated in 1998 to concentrate on the development of the instrument
lines and programs within. StringWorks, Inc. is a family owned and operated
company with offices in Wisconsin and California. |
