After hearing the
fantastic comments from professional string players about the CodaBow bows, and before
considering them as an addition to our current instrument and bow offerings, we decided to
perform our own tests on these bows using our own staff and several professional string
players in Los Angeles. |
The CodaBow Colours and Classic were
compared side by side with bows by Emile Ouchard (value $9,500) and Louis Bazin (value
$7,500), both professional level French bows. In our tests (held blind), a cellist
with the Los Angeles Philharmonic chose the CodaBow Classic first, then the Ouchard,
followed by the Colours and Bazin. Two musicians in the Los Angeles Opera have both
bought a CodaBow for themselves as well as the President of our company and an employee
after performing on them for the non-blind test - the ultimate test result!!! |
