Fully handmade violin on consignment with StringWorks (purchased from us originally as well) by Romanian violin maker Cochis Ciprian, made in 2006.
We've worked with Cochis on a number of his instruments, and this particular one is tonally superior to all others, thanks to the several years of gentle breaking in. Our full tonal review is posted below.
Entirely handmade of European woods - aged and dried spruce and maple - and featuring a lightly antiqued, hand applied oil varnish. Stradivari model, fitted with ebony fittings.
