But I do notice a huge difference in a $300.00 one I rented and the soloist I. Posted on Thursday, August 20, 2009 - 01:15 pm:    Yes you will notice similar improvement. I was playing a Virtuoso which I love, but then I got a Michael Todd II...WOW!!!! I didn't think it'd be that big of a difference. As for the fiddle sound...try using steel strings instead of nylon or synthetic.
