To tell the truth, now that I'm home from work and stewed on it a bit... I liked it, but still felt a bit unsatisfied. Best cello playing I've personally seen live, but Itzhak seemed bored and didn't want to be there. His playing could have been better. Emmanuale Axe's piano was technically amazing, although dynamically, not very forceful or inspiring. And since those two were a little on the lifeless side, Yo Yo's overexagerated body motion just kind of looked silly. It was an enjoyable evening, but I expected more excitement from the musicians.
Hope I didn't open a can of worms for the die hard fans out there. Wish I had better to report.

Yea, I know. I sound like an ingrate. Sleep deprivation can make me that way.

I never liked Itzhak that much. He always seemed a little too pleased with himself. He also just looks like a weasel. (both of these similar to Mozart in "Amadeus")

Cellopop, the beauty of art is in the eye of the beholder. We all have been to concerts where we had high expectations...and the performance didn't deliver.
