Emile Laurent Violin, France, 1909
After undergoing a minor restoration by our head luthier, we are extremely proud and happy to have this violin from the workshops of Mirecourt available for trial. At its first showing, players couldn't put the instrument down - definitely stole the show! A very deep, rich, and complex tone, but complete with the full projection and power you'd expect from a much brighter sounding instrument - so the perfect combination. Full tonal review to come...
