This Virtuoso demands one recognize its worthiness as an upgrade from the Artist, with so much sound, projection, and complexity coming from the heart of the instrument.  It has its characteristic rich tone, a very nice step-up for close to the same price of a new Artist. The maple is nicely figured and beautifully matched, with fittings of the highest quality Indian ebony.  Has a two-piece back.  This Virtuoso shows few signs of age, save for small marks from the bowing of the fiddler who owned it previously.  Well played, will resonate well for you!
